Mendota Trail Rules

RULES FOR TRAIL USE

Only officially announced portions of the trail are open to the public. The rest of the corridor is closed due to dangerous conditions; nonpermitted usage is solely at the user's own risk.

Additional rules are:
1. The trail is open dawn to dusk
2. No trespassing on adjacent private property
3. No motorized vehicles
4. No hunting or discharge of firearms
5. No animals other than leashed, non-vicious
dogs; dog waste must be disposed of properly
6. Minors must be accompanied by adults

TRAIL USERS DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND BY USING THE TRAIL WAIVE ALL CLAIMS OF INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE AGAINST MOUNTAIN HERITAGE, INC., ITS AGENTS, VOLUNTEERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, BOARD MEMBERS AND REPRESENTATIVES

JUST THE BASICS

1. The Trail is open to the Public for the exclusive purpose of walking, running or biking.
2. No Hunting.
3. Except for crossing the RightOfWay, No motorized vehicles except maintenance or emergency vehicles are allowed.
4. Any other form of travel shall be considered Criminal Tresspass subject to prosecuton.
5. Dogs must be securely leashed and cleaned up after. Other animals and horses are not allowed.
6. Trail usage hours are Dawn to Dusk. Minors under 18 must be supervised at all times.
7. No tobacco products or alcohol allowed. All liter must be packed out.
8. Users are responsible for their own safety. Cell service may not be available.
9. Users must remain on the Trail ROW and must not tresspass on adjoining property.
Only access the Trail from public roadways. User is responsible to find legal parking.
10. Criminal violation of these rules are subject to Prosecution and permanant banning from trail use.
